NAME: Eric Cordle
TITLE: Senior Project Leader
MAJOR DUTIES: Roles and responsibilities with the project are in project
support. Project support entails coordinating the training of contractors
for DLG-3 production, production standards updating, hardware and software
installation, contractor support and follow up, beta testing of new software
developments, quality contol of work performed by contractors, a liason
to contractors and the research and development staff as well as budgeting.
NAME: Chellappah K. Lincoln
TITLE: Senior Project Leader
MAJOR DUTIES: Representing Center For Mapping to enter into contract
agreements with Independent contractors for digitizing DLG-3 files for
the different layers of the Quadrangles in OHIO and to ensure the terms
of the agreement are honored. Ensuring that the Independent contractors
are paid for the work done in a timely and expeditious manner. Coordination
of the quality control and quality assurance activities of the files generated
in the GISOM project, ensuring the best attainable accuracy is achieved
at every stage of the digital data conversion Assisting independent contractors
in resolving problems encountered in uncertain situations in the interpretation
coding or processing of Hypso files.
NAME: Rebecca L. Martin
TITLE: Project Leader
MAJOR DUTIES: Responsible for quality control of three layers: hypsography,
political boundaries, and public land surveys. Overseeing high standards
of quality as it relates to automated and visual checks. The positional,
attribute, and completeness of a layer are examined thoroughly before submitting
the files to USGS.
NAME: Chi-Yin So (Louis)
TITLE: Project leader.
MAJOR DUTIES: Doing quality control on hypsography, hydrography, and
miscellaneous transportation layers.
NAME: Mary Tabler
TITLE: Senior Project Leader: GISOM Project
MAJOR DUTIES: Responsible for receiving, inventorying, and ensuring
quality for all base materials received from the USGS. Supervising scanning
of the base separates and the geo-referencing of scanned raster images.
Generating design and attribute files used to collect the Digital Line
Graph-3 graphic primitives and attribute codes. Performing hypsography
vectorization and additional processing of the hypsography files. Distributing
materials needed to perform DLG-3 conversion and notifying the contractors
of their quadrangle assignment via electronic mail. Performing quality
control / quality assurance on political boundary files.
